![]() The character motivations in particular are much more nuanced than what is usually the case. I can't exactly explain that one, this is really subjective, but I find the cast better in Tower of God than in any other battle-shounen I have read/watched (I'm comparing this to battle-shounens because this is the kind of story it is). The world is also rich due to the presence of numerous factions with their own objectives, but more than that, those faction are not entirely united, even if individuals in those faction share a common goal, they have different opinions on how to achieve said goal and power struggle are a thing.Ĭharacters can also be part of multiple factions and they can for example use the authority given by their appartenance to one faction so that they can further the objectives of another. The world of Tower of God is rich with many places organized differently with their own rules, all of it being subject to some common rules in place everywhere in the tower. ![]() I have always been a big fan of stories with a lot of worldbuilding.
